IF CRASC '25
The Conference is organized by the Italian Association of Forensic Engineering (AIF) and the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II.
The establishment, at the University of Naples Federico II, of the first Second level Master's Degree in Italy and Europe, specifically dedicated to Civil and Industrial Forensic Engineering is at the origin of the IF CRASC Conferences. Alongside the traditional sector of Structural Forensic Engineering (typically focused on the topic of collapses), in recent years the attention of the scientific, professional and civil community has grown significantly not only on the legal aspects (procedures and responsibilities) related to the activity carried out by engineers, but also on the complex of activities developed in the sectors of Industrial Engineering and Information. This has led to extending the themes of the Conferences dedicated to Collapses, Structural Reliability and Consolidation, to the multiple sectors of Forensic Engineering.
The remarkable success achieved by previous Conferences and initiatives on the same topic undertaken in Italy and abroad from 2009 to date, has allowed the Italian Association of Forensic Engineering (AIF) to organize the IF CRASC '25 Conference together with the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II. The Conference is also co-organized with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Naples, which will provide the acknowledgment of CFPs for each day attending the Congress.
